Reiten's Rifle Club was begun in 1960 by Ed Reiten. It is located a mile west and 11/4miles north of Cooperstown, and is now called the Fort Atchison Rifle Club. The club now has around eighty members.
The Rifle Club boasts a club house, 200 yard firing line, covered firing points, trap shooting, and it hosts state championships during the summer months; two outdoors and one indoors.
