DANIEL SINCLAIR (June 12, 1837-September 15, 1904), married Jennie Bothwell (December 19, 1836-March 25, 1924) in 1863. From St. Mary's, Ontario, Canada they came to Sanborn in 1883 and to Griggs County in 1884. Children:
FREDRICK ALEXANDER (1864-1938) married Lorena R. (Church) (1867-1924). Children: Fredrick Irving and Mrs. H. C. (Edith) Day (1897-1943). They went to Leavenworth, Wash. in 1919.
ANDREW (1866-1940), attended H. School in Ontario and A. C. in 1891-2; taught school in 1885 and following; elected County Superintendent in 1894 and 1896. He married, l895, Florence Haskell (1873-1898), then married, 1902, Bertha Zimmerman. Children: 4-none in North Dakota. Moved to Montana and died there.
WALLACE JOHN (1869- ), married, 1903, Clara D. Nelson Children: Son (1904- ), daughter Alice Dorothea (1907- ).
JAMES HERBERT (October 9, 1870- ), married first Laura Retzlaff (September 18, 1876-1915), then married Florence Goodrich Kittel of Wash. D. C. He was Congressman, 1916 to 1933.
WILLIAM DANIEL (July 13, 1875- ), married, 1903, Ethel M. Sinclair, daughter of Duncan. Edith Rachael (1885- ), single went to Calif. in 1911 and following. She raised sister Sadie€™s children.
SARA ("Sadie") Jane (1878- ), married A. O. Anderson.
ARCHIBALD MOSES ("Archie") Sinclair (1857- ), son of Moses Sinclair who never came to North Dakota, married, 1896, Lucy Belle Merriman (1865- ). Son, born 1901. They came to Griggs County in 1881, to Alberta, Canada after 1900.
DUNCAN SINCLAIR, brother of Daniel, came in 1881 from Canada. Son Herbert A. went to Grassy Lake, Alberta, Canada; daughter Ethel M, married Wm, D. Sinclair.
