Obert Tharaldson and Gilma Pladson were married and lived on the S 1/2 of Section 34, Lenora Township. They had three children:

Shirley (Mrs. Donald Arneson), Cooperstown

Burton, Cooperstown

and Owen. Gilma Tharaldson died in 1950.

In 1952 Obert married Margaret Gustafson. They have two girls:

Truley and Wanda.
