John, or Joe as he was called, was born in Norway May 4, 1886 and died December 15, 1961 at the age of 76. He was married to Lisa Larson, daughter of Ole Larson in 1911. They had two children, Belle Storkson (Mrs. Walters) of Minneapolis, and one son, Julian Storkson, missing in Panama since 1944 where he was serving as a pilot in the United States Navy.
