Hannaford, North Dakota
was born in Helleland, near Egersund on August 12, 1869. He emigrated to America in 1881. He moved to Hannaford in 1903 and has had the hardware and Farm machinery business there in Partnership with Troseth and his brother Erling Aarrestad.
His wife, Karine Knudsen, is from Haugesund. They have four children.
