Pekin, North Dakota
was born in northern Land on January 17, 1862 and emigrated to America in 1890 to Hancock, Minnesota. He moved to Hatton, North Dakota in 1892 and has been a farmer near Pekin since 1894. His "better half" is still undetermined. As a consequence he has the time and opportunity to rise to the occasion and has been to all the Land Meetings and was also in Decorah, Iowa, one Sommer.
