McVille, North Dakota
has the retail meat market. His father Ole Andersen and his mother Sigrid emigrated from Valdres to America about 45 years ago to Wisconsin. He has lived in Mcville since 1912.
His wife, Thea Ericksen, was born in North Dakota. Her parents lives near Hatton, North Dakota. They have five children.
When I went past his butcher shop, I became aware of a really nice fish in the window. I came inside and I saw three extra fine reindeer heads on the wall. It reminded me of the "old Country".
