Ole Johnson Eidsvig

Kathryn North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Gaarden Eidsvig in Skodje on May 15, 1865 and emigrated to America in 1886 to Valley City, North Dakota,. He purchased a farm in 1890 in Tordenskjold Township and has lived there since.

His wife, Anne J. Bjorlie, was born in America of Norwegian parents in Rushford, Minnesota. Her father was from Nannestad and her mother was from Romerike. They are both dead and are buried at Voldheim Cemetery.

His father was from Loen and his mother from Skodje. He is thus half Sondmoring and half Gudbrandsdol and can be in both regional societys. They have five children. Their oldest son Oscar is on the farm.

He was on a trip to Norway in 1914 and plans to shortly take a trip to Norway again.
