Abel Ericksen

Fargo, North Dakota

is a person from Drammenser. He was born on March 10, 1877. He came to Chicago in 1901 and wored for Jevne & Company in one year. As a salesman for Franklin McVeigh he moved to Moorhead. He worked for a time at Quaker Oats Company and several others stores. He established his own business in Fargo, and was there at the start of the Strand Theater and is now manager of the Princess Theater along with his Piano and real estate business.

His wife, Ida Kirkeng, was born in Wisconsin of Norwegian parents. Her father, Mar Kirkeng, is a farmer. Abel Ericksen is a very interesting Norwegian. He is a member of all the Norwegian Associations in Fargo.
