Ole Fredriksen

Pekin, North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Stangvvik, Nordmoir on July 12, 1846 and emigrated to America in 1860 to Chicago. He moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1911 and lived there for two years. He came to Nelson County in 1882 and took a homestead in Forde Township and has lived there since as a farmer.

His wife, Marit Renseth, is from Stangvik. They have eight children, six sons and two daughters. Martin is the elevator manager in Pekin, North Dakota. Lars has a farm near Pekin, North Dakota. Frederik is on his father’s farm. Knut and Albert rent a farm nearby. Emil is at the store with Guldbro in Pekin, North Dakota. Minda and Emma are home on the farm.
