P. O. Hall

Carpio, North Dakota.

was born in Frenen on June 13, 1874 and emigrated to America in 1892 to Otter Tail County Minnesota. He came to Traill County in 1893 to Johan Viseth’s farm and lived around Mayville and the surrounding area. He moved to Fargo, North Dakota in 1901 where he has a farm and the lumber business.

His wife, Betzie Gunwaldsen, was born in America of Norwegian parents who emigrated from Aadalen. They have one son Clarence who is 17 years old and is now on the farm.

Hall came to the Romsdal regional societies annual meeting in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and then came to Mayville on his return to greet old friends there, and he got the opportunity to be with and celebrate the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Rosevold, and there he came across so many acquaintances from the old days that he was found to be in great spirits.
