Cooperstown, North Dakota
is County treasurer in Griggs County. He was born in America of Norwegian parents in Hole, Wisconsin on December 23, 1878. His father, Otto Hoff, and his mother, Bergine Steig, came to America from Biri in 1865. They went to Hole, Wisconsin and live there still.
He came to Griggs County in 1900. He took a homestead in 1905 in Ward County and has lived in Cooperstown since. He has been the County treasurer since 1912.
His wife, Julia Feiring, was born in America of Norwegian parents from the same region in Wisconsin. They have two children. They have a good home in Cooperstown and 1/2 section of land in Hettinger County, North Dakota.
