McVille, North Dakota
is a farmer. He is the third generation Norwegian American parents, but he both talks and reads Norwegian as well as anyone. Both he and his parents were born in Wisconsin. His grandfather, Endre Johnsen, emigrated from Hardanger. His grandmother was also from there. He married Anna Knudsen of Telemarksaet when he was 18 years old. They have two children. He has lived there in this area for nine years.
