Dr. C. L. Kachelmacher

Fargo, North Dakota

was born in Kristiania on September 29, 1871. He was a student from 1889 and a Medical Candidate in 1897. After his exams were finished he spent one year at Vestlandet. He was a doctor’s assistant at Stavanger Municipal Hospital, until he moved to America in 1899 and practiced Valley City, North Dakota for 1 1/2 years. Then he returned to Europe by the summer of 1901, where he stayed for two years, most of the time in Berlin where he studied Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat-Illnesses. Since the summer of 1903 he has practiced as a specialist in these illnesses in Fargo, North Dakota in partnership with the American Doctor F. H. Bailey. Dr. Kachelmacher is one of Northwest’s most reputable specialists with a large practice.

Dr. Kachelmacher married Laura Knoph from Kragero in New York on January 17, 1910. They have two children. Their elegant and comfortable home his his own furnishings of Norwegian art.
