Hamar, North Dakota
is from Totning and is the brother of Otto Knap in Pekin. He works at the Farmers Elevator and has been there for five years. He was born in vestre Toten on February 16, 1854 and emigrated to America in 1902 to Connecticut. He came to Binford in 1903 and took a homestead in Freeborn Township.
His wife, Anna Thompsen, was born in America of Norwegian parents who have a farm 14 miles from Hamar, North Dakota.
