McVille, North Dakota
is a retired farmed. He was born in Rauland on July 31, 1858 and emigrated to America in 1879 to Vernon County Wisconsin andlived there until 1883 when he came to Nelson County, North Dakota. He took a homestead in Central Township and has lived as a farmer in this area since then.
He has been married two times. His current wife, Aasne Killingtveit, is from Rauland. His first wife, Marie Holter, was from Solor. She died in 1904. The had one daughter Agnes, who is at home. He has lived in Mcville, North Dakota since 1910 and has rented out the farm. He was on a trip to Norway in 1914, arrording to Peer Stromme, and had a delightful trip.
