Andrew Knutsen

Galesburg, North Dakota

is the treasurer of the State Bank. He is from Numedol and was born in Nore on March 27, 1860 and emigrated to America in 1878 to Dane County, Wisconsin. He lived there for two years. He moved to Goodhue County, Minnesota and then to Traill County, North Dakota in 1881. He took a homestead near Galesburg and has lived there since. He has been with the bank since its beginning in 1901 and has been the treasurer since 1907.

His wife, Kristine Augatnes, is from Bergenskanten.

They took a Norwegian trip in 1890 and returned in 1891.
