Peder N. Kringen

Mayville, North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Øverstedalen, northern Trondhjems District, on November 13, 1860 and emigrated to America in 1884 together with his parents, Nils P. Kringen and Anne O. Østerkil. They came to Red Wing, Minnesota and lived in Wannamingo, Minnesota until their deaths. He came to Hunter, North Dakota in 1887 and now has a farm four miles south of Mayville, North Dakota.

His wife, Helen L. Rockne, was born in America of Norwegian parents. Her father was from Vossing and her mother was from Halling. They have seven children and a good home.
