Cooperstown, North Dakota
was born in Sondre Fron on June 13, 1884 and emigrated to America in 1904 to Courtenay, North Dakota. He worked on farms in that area for six years. He came to Cooperstown, North Dakota in 1910 and worked around there until 1915 when he came to Louis Berg's farm.
His wife, Anna Lundsten, is from Nes at Hedemarken. They have one son, Henry.
