Lars Loe

is a farmer and he now lives in Pekin, North Dakota. He was born in Oporen in Ørkedalen on January 8, 1845 and emigrated to America in 1870 to Mankato, Minnesota. He moved in 1881 to Nelson County and took preemption and a Tree-claim in Nesheim Township. He has rented the farm off and now takes it easy in his fine home in Pekin, North Dakota.

His wife, Ingeborg Loe, is from Meldalen. They have five children, of which of two, one daughter, Mrs. Bakke, and one son live in Pekin, North Dakota.
