McVille, North Dakota
was born in Vossevangen on March 8, 1859 and emigrated to America in 1880 to Nelson County North Dakota and took a homestead in Nesheim Township. He was the first settler there and lives at this time on his homestead farm.
His wife, Mina Erlien, is from Lillehammer. They have eleven children, all born on the farm. Three grown sons are at home. Their future looks good.
