Miss Emma Norbryhn

was born in Tjotta Parish district in Nordland. Her parents, Lodver and Marthea Norbryhn, emigrated to America, when she was five years old. They moved to Moorhead, Minnesota where they have had their home since. Miss Norbryhn received her first teaching at public schools in Moorhead. Later she attended high school courses at Concordia College and graduated in 1908. She was in the classics department at St. Olaf College, Northfield Minnesota. In the following year she received employment at Concordia College and has since held the position there as a teacher in Norwegian, Greek and Latin.
