Hannaford, North Dakota
was born in Rauland. He is one of the pioneers in Hannaford and is now 71 years. His Norwegian name was Eivind Olsen Baekhus. He first came to Kristiania-Settlement in Dakota County, Minnesota and then moved to Griggs County 33 years ago and took a homestead close to Hannaford where he now lives.
His wife, Ingeborg Johannesen, is from Smaalenene. Several of her brothers lives in Grafton, North Dakota. They have seven children.
