McVille, North Dakota
are the proprietors of the Mcville Mercantile Company and have a very good business. Their father, Thorbjorn Osman, came from Kongsbergkanten to St. Olaf, Ottertail County Minnesota about 35 years ago.
Thorvald was born in Norway, and has been in Mcville since the town started. His youngest brother, Arthur, was born in Ottertail County and they have operated businesses together as companions for the last three years.
Thorvald’s wife, Anna Solberg, is from Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. They have two sons.
Arthur’s wife, Violet Smidt, is from Garrison, North Dakota. They also have two children.
