He married Helga Nyborg from Furnes, Hedemarken on May 28, 1890. She was born on October 17, 1872 and emigrated to America in 1885 to Norman. They have ten children, five sons and five daughters, Henry, Minnie, Karl, Josef, Arthur, Corinne, Ruth, Mertel, Bennice, Lloyd. They have a good home and are hospitable and pleasant people to be with.
