Christoffer Pedersen

Fargo, North Dakota

was born in Gaarden Ydstines in inner Stjordalen on November 17, 1871 and emigrated to America in 1887 to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He moved to Sargent County, North Dakota and was on a farm for one year. He returned to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he has had his home since 1913. Since 1902 he has offered most of his time to the Sons of Norway as an organizer. Since 1913 he has had a home in Fargo, North Dakota. He is a traveler for the Dakota Coffee Company.

His wife, Nellie Flaten, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota of Norwegian parents, who came from Vang in Valdres. They have four children.

During his many years of work at the Sons of Norway he has won himself many friends in the Northwest.
