Pekin, North Dakota
is a smith. He was born in Wisconsin in Wennebago County, on October 26, 1874. He is the son of Syver Quam who was from Gudbrandsdol. He came to Pekin in 1906. His smith shop was one of the three first buildings build there.
His wife, Della Quam, is of French Ancestry. They have three children: Olive, Cora and Harald.
