S. B. Salverson

Fargo, North Dakota

was born in Moland, Clay County, Minnesota on October 30, 1876. His father's name was Vetle Salvesen Findalstveit and emigrated to America in 1860. His mothers name was Signe Bjugsdatter Aalandsli and she emigrated to America in 1866. They were both from Fyrisdal. He came to Glyndon, Minnesota when he was 14 years old. His father had the general store there. He went to Concordia College for several years. He was school teacher and farmer for several years. The last 7 or 8 years he has been in the printing and publishing business. He is now the secretary of the Ulsaker Printing Company Fargo, North Dakota.

He was one of the ten who organized the "Tele Regional Society" and was its secretary for seven years. He has been a member of Kringen Regional Society No. 25, Sons of Norway, and in the last twelve years has been the regional society's president several times. He was with and organized the Norse Society of Fargo, North Dakota and is now itss Secretary.
