Fargo, North Dakota
was born in Gol, on March 5, 1863 and emigrated to America in 1888 to Kindred, North Dakota. He lived there for 14 years as a farmer and took a homestead there. He moved to Fargo, North Dakota in 1905 and works as a a carpenter for Northern Pacific.
He is married to Andrine Braaten from Nes in Hallingdal. They have two children: Hilda is married to Arthur Levorsen and lives in Fargo, North Dakota. Gina is at home.
