Mons Stordahl

Finley, North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Sund two miles South of Bergen, on May 22, 1865 and emigrated to America in 1886 to Hatton, North Dakota took preemption in Finley Township, Steele County, and has since lived as a farmer in that area. He now lives in Finley, North Dakota where he has a very fine Home.

His wife, Kari Stordahl, is from Fitjar. They have two children. His son Jakob operates the farm and Kristine is married to Christ Dronen who has a farm nearby.

Mons Stordahl has taken in several newcomers and grubstaked them. He has worked as the chairman of the town board for 15 years.
