O. W. Williams

Finley, North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Gjerdrum on April 27, 1850 and emigrated to America in 1866 and went Lansing, Iowa. He lived there until 1875 and then came from there to Highland Prairie, Fillmore, Minnesota. He moved in 1881 to Mayville, North Dakota and took a homestead in Steele County, in 1882 and lives on his homestead farm at this time.

His wife, Johanne Gaarder, is a Norwegian-American woman who was born in Fillmore County Minnesota. They have four daughters. He has worked as the County treasurer for four years in Steele County, and is now a County Commissioner.
