Biography of Theodore Risman

Mr. Theodore Risman was born December 19, 1851 in Christiania, Norway.
In 1872 he was united in marriage to Miss Anne Nelson to whom nine children were born, eight of which are still living.
In 1892 he came to America with his wife and family and took in a homestead in Nelson County near Tolna, North Dakota. He farmed this until eight years ago when he rented it out. Two years ago his wife died. He then went to live with his daughter at Lakota, North Dakota where he is now living.
